a choice to be made.

and has told--emptied lungs
in an effort to end
the redundant charade.
The Amazing climbs ladders
with razors for rungs--
meets the same person
who's got a new face.
The Amazing is tired
of beautiful tongues
that say, "You're amazing
but still--I can't stay."
